HSS Introduces “Best Of Both Worlds” Hybrid-Flex Harness

The HSS-Hybrid quickly became one of the most popular safety harnesses in the Hunter Safety System lineup after its introduction in 2012. The company has taken the Hybrid design to a new level by incorporating its Flex Technology into the upper portion of the harness to create the all-new HSS-Hybrid Flex. The Hybrid Flex is extremely comfortable to wear, and it offers hunters unrestricted freedom of movement in the upper body combined with the functionality of a multi-pocketed vest on the lower portion for the best of both worlds.

The Hybrid Flex features 1 1/4-inch upper-body webbing, tether and waist buckle. The upper portion of the Hybrid Flex harness is wrapped in a series of individual padded hexagons for comfort and breathability, and soft-touch edge piping resists abrasion around the neck. The Hybrid Flex was designed to be comfortable while sitting and standing, without the need for adjustments once in the stand.

Made of soft, quiet and water-resistant Tricot “smart” fabrics, the lower portion features two zippered security pockets, two hand-warmer pockets and two deep-well pockets that all add up to provide plenty of storage space for your hunting necessities. The Hybrid Flex also has a new mesh interior pocket that’s just the right size to keep a smart phone handy for both convenience and safety. Removable binocular straps allow you to keep binoculars, rangefinder, calls or other key hunting items at your fingertips. The straps can easily be removed and safely stored when not in use.

The patented HSS harness design eliminates dangerous dangling straps and weave-through buckles, and the lighter, thinner Flex Technology materials are even stronger than the materials that they replaced. The new Hybrid Flex weighs in at just 2 1/2 pounds, and it meets or exceeds all standards set by the Treestand Manufacturers Association.

Featuring Realtree Xtra, the HSS Hybrid Flex has the same great price of $129.95 as the original HSS-Hybrid. The Hybrid Flex package includes a lineman’s climbing strap, an adjustable treestrap, a suspension-relief/deer-drag strap and instructions. It will be available this spring at major sporting goods retailers nationwide and conveniently online at www.hssvest.com.

Muzzy’s New M.O.R.E. Broadhead For Turkeys

Named after four species of turkey—Merriam’s, Osceola, Rio Grande, and Eastern—the innovative new M.O.R.E. turkey broadhead from Muzzy is designed to stop a longbeard in its tracks with a massive 3-inch cutting diameter and 125-grain weight.

The Muzzy M.O.R.E. 3-blade is built with .051-inch-thick stainless steel blades that are precisely sharpened to provide instantaneous decapitation. The M.O.R.E broadhead is a true fixed-blade design, but it converts into a locked fold-back configuration with a 3/4-inch diameter for storage and transport with two twists of the stainless steel Trocar tip. When ready to hunt, simply loosen the tip, set the blades, and retighten the tip to lock it down. The blades have a 1.5-degree right offset for improved accuracy and durability.

The Muzzy M.O.R.E. broadhead features a high-grade aluminum internal ferrule. The suggested retail price for a 3-pack of M.O.R.E broadheads is $39.99, and it will be available wherever Muzzy products are sold in time for spring gobblers. Replacement blades are sold separately.

Decoy Buddy Allows Tangle-Free Waterfowl Spreads

Any duck hunter who has been at this great pursuit for any length of time has experienced the exasperation of dealing with hopelessly tangled decoys.

Duck hunting is hard work, no doubt about it. Just getting to a duck hole is often a rigorous adventure, whether it’s a dark-of-night boat ride or a long trudge in waders pulling mud through chest-deep water. Then it’s time to set the decoy spread. All that time spent in the garage the night before the hunt, carefully wrapping decoy lines, securing anchors and bagging the dekes… a waste of time. With shooting light approaching and the sound of wings overhead, you’re still trying to untangle decoys.

Decoy Buddy, by Game Smart, is a weighted 8-oz. reel that hooks onto your floating decoy. Simply pull out the amount of line needed for the depth of water you are hunting, and toss out the decoy. No wasted time unwinding decoy lines, and best of all, no tangled mess of decoy lines to deal with in the dark.

Decoy Buddy also makes picking up decoys easy. Simply reel in the slack with the built-in knobs, or use a removable handle that floats just in case it is dropped in the water. The Decoy Buddy was created by duck hunters and has evolved after years of trial and development. It offers a balance of dependability to last many hunting seasons and convenience that will spoil serious waterfowl hunters used to hard work in the swamps and marshes.

The Decoy Buddy includes two holes for attaching accessories, and the anchor has teeth for a better hold on the bottom in windy conditions and currents. It is available in 12- and 36-packs, or you can try a 3-pack for just $19.99. Visit www.decoybuddy.com for more information and to place an order, or ask for Decoy Buddy at your local retailer.
