CVA Introduces ACCURA V2 Muzzleloader

Since its introduction in 2008, the CVA ACCURA, has been CVA’s premier muzzleloading only rifle. But for 2010, CVA has upgraded the ACCURA with a new version that it calls the V2 (meaning Version 2). According to Dudley McGarity, CEO of Blackpowder Products, Inc., owner of the CVA brand, the new ACCURA V2 has all the features of the original version, plus a few extras. “We just felt that, as our top-of-the-line muzzleloader, the ACCURA should have all the extra features that we have available – just as does our APEX muzzleloader/center-fire interchangeable model.

McGarity says that all of the features that made the original ACCURA famous are still there in the ACCURA V2 – Trigger Guard Actuated Breeching Action, Bergara Barrel®, Neutral Center of Gravity Trigger – but that several more have been added that really put the ACCURA V2 in a class by itself. First, the popular Thumbhole and Standard design stocks remain the same in terms of shape and fit, but a Soft-Touch coating and Rubber Grip Panels have been added to make them extremely comfortable and easy to hang on to even in the wettest weather. Both stock designs are offered in Black and Realtree APG Camo. And last, but certainly not least, the new ACCURA V2 features CVA’s patent pending Quick Release Breech Plug (QRBP) – the first truly finger removable breech plug system. According to the Company’s internal tests, which are on CVA.com as a video presentation, the QRBP allows the user to shoot multiple shots and still remove the breech plug with no tools whatsoever. “None of our competitors systems can make this claim,” McGarity stated.
