Hawk Flies Off With Cat

Whether you live in the deep woods, or amongst office complexes, watch those cats and small dogs.

If you have a cat or small dog, you may want to keep an eye on them when they are outside doing their business. There are lots of predators around, even in populated areas where you least expect them, and not all are the four-legged variety coming from ground level.

You certainly don’t have to be in the deep woods to see encounter remarkable and unusual things in the animal kingdom.

And a warming, if you’re a cat lover, you might want to move on to the next story now…

Chandler Brown, of Forsyth County, was sitting at his work desk in populated Lawrenceville on Dec. 2  when he looked out the office window to see a large hawk sitting on top of a cat. Chandler grabbed his phone and went outside to film what was happening.

    I was driving down the road once, and almost hit a red-tailed hawk carrying off a grey cat.

    He was having a hard time gaining altitude, and was within 5 feet of my windshield.
