June Means Kids’ Fishing Events

WRD does a good job offering places for parents to take a kid fishing during the month of June. That list is below. Check for last-minute additions at https://georgiawildlife.com under the “Events” tab.

I still remember taking my niece Caroline to one of these events years ago. I just sat back, baited her hook and watched her watching that bobber for a couple of hours one June morning. I can still see the picture I took of her with a stringer full of bream. She’s 23 years old now and killed her first deer last year, so maybe some of that outdoor culture stuck.

If you visit one of the below Kids’ Fishing Events, we’d enjoy celebrating any success that your child finds. Please include the following information: Angler’s first and last name, which KFE event y’all attended, age of the child, along with their hometown and the date.
