Bartletts Ferry, also known as Lake Harding, is a 5,850-acre reservoir on the Chattahoochee River north of Columbus and south of Lake West Point. The lake was built in 1926 and now owned by Georgia Power. Bartletts offers good fishing for spotted bass.

Bass: Tournament angler Tyler Morgan with Summerlin Outdoors reports that Tyler and Adam Byrd won the first Tuesday night, three-hour tournament on March 19 with five bass weighing 22 pounds. Those fish were prespawn, moving in to get ready to bed. April is all about the spawn, both bass and shad. Tyler will fish seawalls and grassbeds where the shad will spawn the first hour each morning. He will cast an Accent Fishing Products Jacob Wheeler buzzbait with a white Zoom Horny Toad trailer. Fish fast and cover water until you find shad spawning and bass eating them.
