Lake Sinclair Fishing Report July 2014

GON Staff | June 26, 2014

Sinclair: Level: 1.4 feet below full pool. Temp: Mid 80s. Clarity: Lightly stained to clear at the dam.

Bass: Slow. Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Bass fishing is tough. Look for a few topwater bites during the early morning hours. Try a Buzzerbait buzzbait around seawalls and grass. Look for stuff very close to main river channels. Once the sun gets up, move out to deeper areas in 12 to 20 feet of water. We are also catching some keepers on 3/16-oz. Net Boy Bait Screwball jig heads with the Wackem Crazy Big Sissy worms. You can also get right over fish and work a drop shot with the Big Sissy worm.” For a feature article and locations to find July bass, see page 42.
