Lake Seminole Fishing Report – September 2007

GON Staff | September 1, 2007

Seminole: Level: 0.8 feet below full pool. Temp: High 80s. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. The summer pattern continues, said Steve Holt. Frogs fished on hydrilla mats or buzzbaits or Pop-Rs fished around deep grass points early in the morning can produce topwater bites. Once the morning bite ends, standing timber in 16 feet of water or deeper can produce some quality fish where the water is too deep for hydrilla. A Texas-rigged worm, a paddle-tail worm or a Mann’s Wake Bait fished over the timber can be productive.
