Lake Jackson Fishing Report November 2013

GON Staff | October 30, 2013

Jackson: Level: 0.5 feet below full pool. Temperature: 65-68 degrees. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Some big spots have been caught recently with a Triton Mike Bucca Bull Herring Swimbait. The bait is 6 inches long, and you won’t get many bites on it during a normal day, but they will mostly all be those big Jackson spots in the 2- to 4-lb. range. It is a very exciting bait to work as the bites are explosive and very aggressive. If you need numbers to fill out a limit, slow down and work a 1/8-oz. Net Boy Baits ScrewBall jig head head with a Missile Baits Fuse worm in watermelon-red color.”
