Lake Jackson Fishing Report – November 2009

GON Staff | October 27, 2009

Jackson: Level: 0.3 feet below full pool. Temp: 63 to 66 degrees. Clarity: Stained up the river; slight stain near the dam.

Bass: Good. Aaron Batson reports, “There has been a huge shad movement to the backs of pockets. Bass can be caught shallow on Ol Nelle 1/4-oz., double-willowleaf, white spinnerbaits, especially on windy days. On calm days, throw a 1/4-oz., white Net Boy Bait jig with a pearl, Zoom Fat Albert grub as a trailer. Swim the jig just like a slow-rolled spinnerbait. Later this month, a big, 3/4-oz., chrome Rat-L-Trap will catch some big ones headed back out near main-lake points.”
