Lake Jackson Fishing Report – March 2019

GON Staff | February 26, 2019

Jackson: Level: 1.2 feet high. Temp: 57-62 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Tournament angler Brian Lee reports, “Water level has been up and down due to recent rains. The bite has been just like the water, but when you find them, you can catch them. Early morning bites have been best with crankbaits on rocks or boat ramps. Keep the trolling motor down, and cover water to catch numbers. As the day progresses on, I like to start looking for fish schooled up offshore with baitfish. I’ll target these fish with a 3/8-oz. Fish Head Spin with a Swimming Fluke. This is a go-to technique that I’ll continue on into May.”
