Lake Chatuge Fishing Report September 2012

GON Staff | August 29, 2012

Chatuge: Level: 2.5 feet above full pool. Temp: 80 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. Eric Welch, of Reel Job Fishing guide service, reports, “The fish are scattered. You can find them on points and flats in 12 to 30 feet of water. You can pick up two or three fish using a drop-shot. Just keep a eye on your electronics—if you see fish, drop a drop-shot down on them. Also, around any brush throw a shaky head on it. There has been a little topwater action, and this should only get better this month. Throw a fluke, Sammy and a Sebile around points and flats.”
