Lake Chatuge Fishing Report October 2011

GON Staff | September 28, 2011

Chatuge: Level: 4.2 feet below full pool. Temp: 75-76 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. Eric Welch, of Reel Job Fishing, reports, “Keep a Sammy tied on for morning breaking fish. The fish are suspending between 10 and 30 feet around baitfish. If you watch your electronics, you will see the fish. They are off points and around the flats near the channel breaks. I’m catching them drop-shotting a 4 1/2-inch Roboworm in morning dawn or a Yum Shad. If it’s windy, I would throw a War Eagle spinnerbait around docks and points.”
