Lake Chatuge Fishing Report – November 2019

GON Staff | October 26, 2019

Chatuge: Level: 5.5 feet low. Temp: 64-66 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Guide Eric Welch reports, “If it’s not a windy day, there has been some fish breaking. Most of our fish has been coming on drop shot with 4.5-inch morning-dawn worm and a shaky head with a 6.5-inch Strike King finesse green-pumpkin worm. We’ve been targeting steep rocky banks, deep docks with rock around them and long points. The magic depth has been 12 to 25 feet, and there has also been some spotted bass hanging around long clay points. If it’s a windy day, try a 3/8-oz. white spinnerbait or a small crankbait in a bait pattern. Fish Head Spin and a Strike King 2.75 or 3.75 Rage Swimmer will also work. It’s just going to get better this month.”
