Chatuge: Level: 0.6 feet below full pool. Temp: 64-68 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Guide Eric Welch reports, “There has been some topwater action at first light. Keep a Sammy or fluke tied on for the breaking fish. The spawn is about over, but there are still some cruisers in the pockets. The spotted bass have moved back out to their summer patterns. Texas rigs, jigs, drop shots and shaky heads are working. Also target lay downs with a fluke, and if there is wind, throw a spinnerbait.”
