Chatuge: Level: Full pool. Temp: 83 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. Eric Welch, of Reel Job Fishing, reports, “There is still a little topwater bite the first couple hours in the morning. I’ve been catching most my fish in the 12- to 35-foot range on drop shots and shaky heads. This time of year I always keep a fluke or swimbait tied on for breaking fish and to fish around lay downs.”
