Lake Blue Ridge Fishing Report May 2011

GON Staff | April 27, 2011

Blue Ridge: Level: 26.7 feet below full pool. Temp: 63 degrees. Clarity: Cloudy.

Bass: Fair. Eric Welch, of Reel Job Fishing, said the lake is rising quickly. “We are still catching fish on drop-shots and tubes, but there has been no pattern. With the lake coming up daily, the fish are moving around looking to spawn, but the lake keeps rising on them,” Eric said. “With the lake coming up, there are no ramps open. We have been putting in at the marina off the gravel roadbed. If the lake keeps rising like it has, it will be at full pool this month.”
