Deep Woods Buck: It’s nice to see a trail-camera photo of a mature buck way back in the thick stuff. Notice what looks like a scrape between the camera and the buck. Michael Weldon Jr., of Milner, got this shot Nov. 15 at 9:25 a.m. in Monroe County.

Fannin County Droptine Buck: Fannin County resident Chris White got several great pictures of this super mountain buck.

Stand Tall: Daniel Elia, of Dacula, sent this picture of a couple of Gwinnett County brawlers taken Nov. 22. He said the deer on the right looks like a button buck.

Black Yotes: Chris Baldwin, of Warner Robins, wonders if black coyotes are rare, in general. They’re apparently not rare on his Peach County hunting land. “I also have a video trail cam and have two of them together,” Chris said.

Nature Gone Wild — In the Backyard: Jim Conway lives in the city limits of Roswell on a 3-acre lot, where his trail cam caught a buck chasing a coyote up the steps in the yard behind his suburban home.
