That’s a mountain of pork! This Washington County hog was esti- mated at well over 600 pounds — it had to be hoisted with a front-end loader. Willis Hartley shot the hog on Feb. 26, 2005.

John Kubia IV of Kathleen shot this Macon County 8-pointer on November 8. It was the first time a new stand had been hunted.

A bleat can drew this Dooly County 10-pointer closer, but the slow- poke took 45 minutes to slowly come down a gas line opening. David Sanders of Vienna shot the buck on November 7.

A No. 6 bream hook and a red wiggler, that’s what produced Bob Price’s biggest bass ever. Bob, 73, was fishing a Cobb County pond on February 26 when he caught the 7-lb., 8-oz. largemouth.

After getting frustrated about not seeing deer on his Brooks County club, Travis Roberts of Valdosta walked back to his truck through a thick bottom instead of on a logging road. Result… nice 8-pointer.

Brian Jones (left) and Shawn Powell with a pair of great Butts County birds. Brian’s weighed 23 pounds and had a 1 1/8-inch spur. Shawn’s weighed 22 pounds and had a 11 1/4-inch beard.

David Bearden, of Dawsonville, with a huge flathead catfish he caught and released Feb. 21 at Lake Marion in South Carolina.
