Taylor Hall, 21, of Tunnel Hill, was fishing with her uncle Matt Hall at Carters Lake on Feb. 23 when she boated this 12 1/2-lb. striped bass. “The fish put up a good fight and decided to make it more interesting by wrapping the line around a no-wake buoy!” Taylor said.

 

Austin Jones, of Metter, killed this Candler County 8-point buck on Nov. 19.

 

Tish Scott, of Elberton, with her best buck to date. Tish shot the 8-pointer on Oct. 29 while hunting in Wilkes County.

 

Double trouble! Mike Huska, of Newnan, with his first black coyotes. He trapped them behind his home after a chicken disappeared.

 

Here’s a super Floyd County bow-buck for Robbie Armstrong, of Rome. Robbie rattled up the 10-pointer along with two smaller bucks on Nov. 4.

 

The Wilkinson County bucks were grunting and chasing on Oct. 30 when Lexi Kiser, 18, of Gray, shot this 8-pointer.

 

This huge Lake Oconee catfish was caught on 10-lb. test line. Rick Powell, of Greensboro, said it bottomed-out his scale that only went to 50 pounds.

 

Brelan Sieveking, 17, of Hiawassee, was hog hunting after dark in Habersham County with Adam Dyer when she killed this hog with a 6.5 Grendel rifle.

 

A tree dropping acorns drew this Bulloch County 7-pointer in range on Oct. 31 for Josh Nicoli, of Claxton.
