Cute and a GON subscriber? Somebody knows how to get published. Congrats to Tinsleigh Patton, 3, of McDonough. An email to [email protected] said, “Tinsleigh caught her third fish from our backyard pond using her trusty Barbie pole and worms she dug from the yard.”

Ware County lost a pair of gobblers last spring thanks to some good hunting by Micah Freeman, 13, of Waycross. These were his first two birds ever.

There’s no need to stretch the truth about this Colquitt County gar. Gunner Sherrard, 7, of Moultrie, guarantees you it measures 42 inches long. He caught it with his dad on Aug. 3.

A full-blown rut and a hot doe meant the end of the road for this Gordon County buck. Clay Worley, 10, made the shot count on Nov. 15.

Always great to see when our GON magazine subscribers kill a big one! Here’s a nice south Fulton County buck taken by Carson Bowen, of Winston. He was hunting in a ground blind with his dad on Nov. 9.

The famous Zebco 33 strikes again! The push-button reel was loaded with a black Zoom lizard on March 15 for Alyssa Reid, 10, of Milner. She caught the largemouth in a Lamar County pond.
