Mason Williams, 12, of Madison, caught his biggest fish and killed his first turkey all in the same day. The striper came from Lake Oconee and the afternoon gobbler was taken in Morgan County.

Harris Robinson, 7, of Lexington, was on spring break with his dad at Clarks Hill when he caught this hybrid on April 6.

Elijah Clark, 9, of Dalton, killed this squirrel in Spalding County with a .22-caliber pistol while hunting with his pop.

Layla Garrett, 9, of Blairsville, took her first deer, a 6-point buck, in Union County on Dec. 21 with a New England .243.

Ryan Bodine, 14, of Appling, with a Christmas buck taken the evening of Dec. 25 in Columbia County. The 10-point was Ryan’s first harvest of any animal. He had been watching this deer on a small, 5-acre tract for a month, and he shot him with a 12-gauge slug.

Steven Goodroe, 6, with a Pulaski County gobbler he tagged out on. It had a 11.25-inch beard.

Kazz Orr, 12, of Valona, with a swamp turkey from McIntosh County.

Kaylin Lindsey, 14, of Cumming, killed this gobbler on March 25 in Wilkes County.

 

Cooper Cadenhead, of LaGrange, with a Troup County bird killed April 4.

This Haralson County 10-point was killed by Colton King, 9, while hunting with his Papa Greg on Nov. 8.

Here’s a 15-lb. Savannah River blue catfish caught on Dove soap near Ebenezer Landing in Rincon on April 22. The young angler was 4-year-old Mason Smith.

Chandon Fryer, 9, of Juniper, made his first cast into a Talbot County pond and caught this bass. He was fishing with 5-year-old Brylan Fryer.

Kinsley Thomas, 9, of Lyons, got her first turkey on March 25 in Toombs County.

Weston Wheelus, 6, of Good Hope, with his first turkey. He was hunting in Elbert County in the pouring rain on March 25 when this big gobbler came across a field from 300 yards away with five hens.

Tucker Goodman, 9, of Quitman, with a Lowndes County tom from April 6.

Sophia Pye, 8, of Vidalia, took her first turkey in Emanuel County on March 25.
