Dang Yotes: Dennis Green got this all-too-common image on his Warren County trail camera the weekend of July 23. “The camera is on a powerline, and behind the camera is a young pine thicket,” Dennis said. “I put the camera on a young pine tree at my brother Randall Green’s hunting spot. I planted soybeans two months ago, but they didn’t come up. He shot a yote there last year, and 30 minutes later there were deer coming to give their last regards to it. They even smelled of it laying there dead.”

The White Fawn: You can still see some white spots on this beautiful Georgia piebald fawn’s brown patch. Tommy Kennedy sent the photo, adding, “My father Wayne Kennedy thought he had seen an albino deer in the area that I hunt, but he wasn’t sure and thought maybe he had mistaken it for a goat. So I put out my Moultrie Game Cam, and sure enough… I think it is a nubbin buck. It would be nice to see what kind of a rack he could grow in the years to come.”

Going For The Intimidation Close-Up Look Right Before Deer Season? This buck gave the trail-camera the old stink eye. GON subscriber Gerald Stroup, of Leesburg, got the photo on his hunting land in Calhoun County on Sept. 9 at 7:38 p.m.

Fighting Through Irma: Frank Bevan, of Waynesboro, got this trail-cam photo on Monday, Sept. 11 as the remnants of Hurricane Irma were rolling through Burke County.

Hopalong Hog: GON subscriber Will Thacker, of Canton, sent this picture of a three-legged boar. The photo was taken in Cherokee County on Aug. 30 at 7:27 a.m. “He is obviously getting around pretty good as big as he is,” William said. “This is the first time I have seen him.”
