Better than a “pic-a-nic” basket, Boo Boo: This Berrien County bruin had been chewing pipe insulation off of deer stands and leaving tracks all over a club outside Alapaha. Scott Jackson of Ty Ty used some of the bear’s favorite treat to lure him into this candid photo opportunity.

News flash: The Photoscout camera of Gary Hughes captured this Gilmer County buck in mid-flight. Whatever was chasing the deer likely never caught it at that speed.

Against the odds: Wade Steptoe got this shot of a bobcat fighting with two racoons in Ware County in early February of 2004.

Coon doe: We don’t know if Randy Palmer of St. Cloud, Fla. is a coon hunter. If he is, he needs to get a collar for this doe. Randy caught the doe running this Sumter County coon up a tree with his Photoscout trail camera in October.

This nice, Hancock County 8-point buck, with a 5×3 rack, happened by the Stealth Cam of John Harris in October of 2003. John hunted hard for the buck but never got to see him during daylight hours. This picture was snapped at about 4:30 a.m.
