Save the date! GON’s Outdoor Blast Is July 28-30, 2017

GON will once again return to the Infinite Energy Center to host the Outdoor Blast, our annual kick-off to hunting season. The Outdoor Blast will be July 28-30, 2017.

Right before this issue of GON went to press, the editors were discussing just how awesome our annual Wall of Fame—a display of the state’s best bucks from the previous season—is going to be at the 2017 Blast.

As predicted, we are seeing a dynamite deer season, so the Wall of Fame will likely be the best display of antlers our Outdoor Blast show-goers have ever seen.

The Outdoor Blast will again feature hundreds of hunting and fishing vendors offering products for deer season. We’re bringing back the very popular Gun-An-Hour-Giveaway. Every hour on the hour, a name will be drawn, and the winner will pick up their new gun right there and take it home. The GON Truck-Buck Shoot-Out will take place Saturday and Sunday. GON’s Youth Big-Buck Contest Shoot-Out will be on Friday as kids shoot for a $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors and a Woods-N-Water dream hunt.

The Infinite Energy Center is a clean, well air-conditioned facility right off Interstate 85 in a very nice area of Duluth. It’s a great place to kick-off hunting season in a family friendly environment.

GON’s Outdoor Blast is a great place to advertise and sell your hunting and fishing products. If you are looking to unload your flea-market-type junk or foot massage chairs, sorry, we’re not interested in hosting you. However, if you’re in the hunting and fishing business, we invite you to come spend a weekend with the GON family. We still have some booth space available.
