Hunt Story
11/5/22 Hunting a hardwood bottom. Saw 8 different bucks the day before from this stand. So decided to go back to the same spot. Saw 2 bucks chasing 2 does earlier then this guy came cruising thru looking for the hot doe. He kept his head down for a while so I grunted and he looked up and gave me a good look at him so I decided to take him. He ran 60 yards and piled up. We run a lot of cameras on our lease and we've never seen this buck. Goes to show during the rut you never what's going to show up. Special thanks to my dad Jerry Davis for helping me get him out and my wife for her patience with me spending so much time in the woods.
