$25 Gets You Eligible For $75K In Truck-Buck Prizes!
GON’s big-buck contest is super easy to enter, and there’s a winner every week. Just make sure your GON subscription is up-to-date for deer season.

We are super thankful for the dedicated and longtime sponsors of Truck-Buck and the relatively new sponsors that came on board in the past several seasons. Make no mistake, without these folks, the Truck-Buck contest would not be returning for an amazing 35th season. Please support the companies and people who support GON and Georgia deer hunting.
Savage Arms saved the day two seasons ago by joining Truck-Buck to sponsor the gun weeks. Savage will again give away 11 Savage deer rifles this season. Mathews is back as the sponsor of our archery season weeks, and CVA has been with us since day one as the primitive-weapons week sponsor.
Thanks to Georgia-based Ranew’s Outdoor Equipment, the second-best shot in the Shoot-Out will again earn a Firminator G-3 food plot implement. Plus, Georgia-based Rugged Road Outdoors is throwing in their revolutionary ultralight coolers to our wildcard and Youth Big-Buck Contest prize packages. And our grand-prize winner receives a truck from long-time sponsor John Megel Chevrolet. If you need a vehicle, you know where to go!
The best-scoring buck each week of deer season earns a huge weekly prize package—a bow, rifle or muzzleloader, plus an HSS safety harness and a bag of Draw attractant and Corn Spike products from 4S Advanced Wildlife Solutions. The contest also has four wildcard spots, one for the highest-scoring buck by a youth, killed by a female hunter, and a public-land wildcard. There is also a Runner-Up Wildcard for the highest-scoring buck of the season that doesn’t win a week. The four wildcard winners earn a spot in the Shoot-Out, plus a $250 gift card from Agri Supply, a Rugged Road ultralight cooler, 4S products, an HSS safety harness and a Shoot-Out jersey.
Make sure your GON subscription is up-to-date. And make sure to thank each of our Truck-Buck contest sponsors. And when you do business, do so with the folks who support us and Georgia hunting.
Entering the GON Truck-Buck contest is simple. First, be a GON member, which means you have a paid annual subscription to the magazine. The new month-to-month subscription doesn’t count for Truck-Buck eligibility. When you kill a buck, take digital photos before you cape the buck. Then go to www.GON.com and fill out the online entry form and upload your pictures. If the Internet isn’t your thing, you can enter by print and filling out the entry form, and then mailing it and photos to GON.
You can’t kill a buck, and then subscribe and try to enter. Also, if you are 23 and living with your parents, you need to buy your own subscription. Only dependent kids (claimed as dependent on parents’ taxes) can enter on a subscription. Grandparents, please buy a gift subscription for the grandkids! The kids even have their own contest—see page 60 for info.
Simply be a paid annual GON magazine subscriber, kill a buck, take some photos, and then enter online at www.GON.com.
The Youth Big-Buck Contest
The kids even have their own contest with weekly winners, prizes and their own Shoot-Out that is held at the Outdoor Blast.
The entry process is the same—simply enter Truck-Buck. All youth hunters 15 years old and younger are automatically entered in both Truck-Buck and the Youth Big-Buck Contest.
The winner of the Youth Big-Buck Contest Shoot-Out gets a $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors, plus a weekend hunt with Woods-N-Water. The second-place finisher in the finals will receive a CVA Scout .243 break-action centerfire rifle from BPI Outdoors. The highest-scoring buck entered by a youth 15 and younger during each of the 17 weeks of Georgia’s deer season earns that youngster a spot in the Shoot-Out, plus weekly prizes. In the Youth Contest, 17 kids will win a 65 V2 cooler from Rugged Road Outdoors, and each weekly winner earns a LockedOn 360 Mobile Gun Vise, perfect for hunting from a shooting house.
