Holden Hines, 14, of Macon, collected a $3,000 shopping spree from Adventure Outdoors after winning GON’s Youth Big-Buck Contest Shoot-Out on Aug. 21 at GON’s Outdoor Blast. In addition, Holden won a dream deer and hog hunting trip with Woods-N-Water outfitters in Wilkinson County. Holden and a parent get to hunt and stay at a remote lodge and have some fantastic country cooking.

Holden Hines, 14, of Macon, stands with his mom, dad and younger brother after winning the GON Youth Shoot-Out on Saturday, Aug. 21. He won a $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors and a weekend deer and hog hunting trip with Woods-N-Water. All of the GON Youth-Shoot-Out winners won a customized jersey from Realtree and a gun vise from LockedOn 360. The contest is open to all GON member kids who are 15 or younger when they kill a buck. This season, Rugged Road Outdoors has joined as a sponsor to offer a 30-Can Soft Cooler for each of the weekly winners.

Holden was the only shooter who hit the Round 7 target, a Rolaid tablet at 15 feet. At press time, Holden hadn’t visited Adventure Outdoors yet. However, we hear that Holden is eyeing a new gun. Great choice, Holden!

All shooters received a Realtree jersey (above) and a LockedOn 360 gun vise (below).
