Easton Withrow Wins GON’s Youth Shoot-Out
Adventure Outdoors, Woods-N-Water, Realtree and Georgia 4-H are the reasons GON can host an awesome youth deer contest in Georgia.

Easton Withrow, 10, of Cleveland, collected a $3,000 shopping spree at Adventure Outdoors after winning GON’s Youth Big-Buck Contest Shoot-Out on Sept. 26 in Madison. The Shoot-Out had originally been planned for July at the Outdoor Blast, but hosting site restrictions didn’t allow GON to hold its annual hunting show. In addition, Easton won a deer and hog hunting trip with Woods-N-Water outfitters in Irwington. Easton has already collected that prize package, and next month we’re going to tell you all about the bucks and hogs he saw on that trip. At presstime, Easton hadn’t visited Adventure Outdoors yet to spend $3,000, but he’s planning to make that trip soon.
During the Shoot-Out, Chris Sagar with 4-H was once again the official gun handler. Kids wore their Realtree jerseys and shot with a Daisy 499B Champion BB gun. It’s the same gun used across the nation in 4-H competitions. For more on the 4-H Project S.A.F.E. program, go to www.georgia4h.org/safe.
