The 2024 GON Coyote Cull is off and rolling as hunters and trappers step up to the plate to kill song dogs in an effort to save fawns and turkey poults.

Listed below are all the entries of those who have found success and taken a photo with their June 2024 issue of GON. We’ll update this list throughout the contest.

Lance Johnson, of Elberton, shot this coyote on June 15 while crossing a pasture at 200 yards.

 

FLOYD CO.

James Z Brown, of Dallas.

 

GRADY CO.

David Strickland with a female coyote.

 

GREENE CO.

Scott Noltensmeier, of Lexington, trapped this coyote.

 

HABERSHAM CO.

Terry Post Ball, of Batesville.

Cole Henry took this female coyote on his Great Uncle’s farm in Clarkesville.

HALL CO.

Eli Luke, of Tiger, with a coyote killed on a dairy farm.

 

HANCOCK CO.

 

Tom Smith, of Oakwood, shot these two coyotes in Hancock County on June 30 just after midnight. Tom says, “This big male was a big one and weighed 39.6 pounds! I was able to shoot him AND his female black pup. The other three pups and mama got away before I could get anymore of them. Thank you again for all you do for the sportsmen of Georgia. I’d love to help by partnering with your social media folks or whoever I can to add interest/content to GON. As a professional marksman and owner of Precision Predator Solutions, I find it most rewarding to help others in the sport of hunting/marksmanship. Especially if it means eliminating non-native, destructive species such as hogs and coyote!”

Dustin Kerbow, of Jasper County, with five daytime shotgun coyotes taken on June 26 in Morgan County.

 

OGLETHORPE CO.

Zack Cheek had a landowner call him on June 1 who said coyotes were howling behind his house in the middle of the day. Zack said he got on the job and took a few coyote pups.

 

RABUN CO.

Jeff Jarrard killed this coyote around 11 p.m. on June 20 near Clayton.

 

ROCKDALE CO.

Keith Koon reports that this female won’t be having any pups.
