Round 2 of the 2021 GON Coyote Cull is off and rolling as hunters and trappers step up to the plate to kill song dogs in an effort to save fawns and turkey poults.

Listed below are all the entries of those who have found success and taken a photo with their June 2021 issue of GON. We’ll update this list throughout the contest. Please allow at least 24 hours for your entry to be processed and posted online if you enter through the mail or at [email protected].

BACON COUNTY

Rodney Mullis, of Alma, with a Bacon County coyote.

 

BAKER COUNTY

Joseph Parker, of Newton, with a Baker County coyote.

 

BALDWIN COUNTY

Kyle Jones, of Milledgeville, with a Baldwin County coyote. 

 

BARTOW COUNTY

Mike Warrak reports, “This thief has been casing the chicken house over the last two weeks, but I’ve been saving him for June’s GON Coyote Cull entry.  So here it is: A medium-sized female shot in Bartow County at 81 yards with a trusty Hornady 32-grain V-Max in .204 Ruger, moving at 4225 FPS. Automatic dirt nap for the yote as the fawns, turkeys, chickens, ducks and geese cheer!”

Jason Davis shot this coyote in Bartow County on June 4.

 

CATOOSA COUNTY

David Coffee, of Ringgold, with a Catoosa County coyote.

Keith Swinford, of Cohutta, with a Catoosa County coyote.

 

CHARLTON COUNTY

This Charlton County coyote was caught by Richard “Buck” Taylor, of Folkston, in a dirt hole set using beaver castor and a trusty MB 550.

Michael Horne, of Folkston, with a Charlton County coyote caught on a flat set on an MB550.

 

CHATTAHOOCHEE COUNTY

Mark Henson, of Ellaville, with a Chattahoochee County coyote.

Harry Ligon, of Cusseta, killed this coyote in Chattahoochee County.

 

CHEROKEE COUNTY

Robert Lane, of Ball Ground, killed this coyote in Cherokee County. It’s his first female harvested this year.

 

ELBERT COUNTY

Jeff Andrews, of Bowman, with a coyote taken in Elbert County.

 

EMANUEL COUNTY

Joshua Meeks, of Kite, with an Emanuel County coyote, no. 37 for the year.

Addison Hooks, of Swainsboro, with an Emanuel County coyote.

Hal Bridges, of Summertown, with an Emanuel County coyote from June 11.

 

FLOYD COUNTY

Robbie Armstrong, of Rome, with a Floyd County coyote killed on June 25.

 

FRANKLIN COUNTY

Shane Rouse, of Lavonia, shot this Franklin County coyote with a fawn leg in its mouth.

Tyler Wade, of Bowman, killed these coyotes in Elbert and Franklin counties while hunting with John Norris.

John Norris, of Royston, killed these coyotes in Elbert and Franklin counties on June 4.

 

FULTON COUNTY

Erik Hallmark, of Douglasville, killed this coyote while night hunting in Fulton County.

 

HABERSHAM COUNTY

Kade Nicholson, of Demorest, with a Habersham County coyote.

 

HARALSON COUNTY

Wayne Wood, of Buchanan, with a Haralson County coyote.

 

HART COUNTY

Evan Harris killed this coyote in Hart County.

 

JACKSON COUNTY

Tracy Cagle, of Elberton, with a Jackson County coyote.

Chuck Anthony, of Jefferson, took this coyote in Jackson County on June 4.

 

LINCOLN COUNTY

Brad Bagwell with a Lincoln County coyote from June 18.

 

LUMPKIN COUNTY

Will Higgins with a Lumpkin County coyote.

Lee Stover, of Dahlonega, with a Lumpkin County coyote.

 

HABERSHAM COUNTY

Gary Sutton, of Clarkesville, with a Habersham County coyote.

Travis Fortenberry, of Demorest, with a Habersham County coyote.

Tom Smith, of Oakwood, and his daughter Mandy, 16, with a Hall County double on June 18. Mandy shot the female and Tom cleaned up with the male.

Davin Youngblood, of Madison, with a Morgan County coyote.

 

MURRAY COUNTY

Glenn Earnest, of Crandall, with a Murray County coyote.

 

OCONEE COUNTY

Christopher Butler, 10, of Bishop, trapped this coyote in Oconee County.

Jaxson Roberts with an Oconee County coyote.

 

OGLETHORPE COUNTY

Logan Gabriel, of Lexington, with a coyote harvested in Oglethorpe County.

 

PAULDING COUNTY

Ashley Holland with a Paulding County coyote.

 

PIKE COUNTY

Craig Darsey, of Griffin, caught this yote in Pike County on June 9.

 

PULASKI COUNTY

Jack Green, of Hawkinsville, with a Pulaski County coyote pup, which does count for GON’s Coyote Cull.

 

PUTNAM COUNTY

Ray Ward, of Eatonton, with a Putnam County coyote pup.

 

QUITMAN COUNTY

Ralph Morris, of Georgetown, with a black Quitman County coyote.

 

RABUN COUNTY

Jeff Jarrard took this Rabun County coyote at night near Clayton.

 

RANDOLPH COUNTY

Buck Johnson, of Dawson, with a Randolph County coyote killed at 6 a.m. on June 18.

 

STEPHENS COUNTY

Chris Lingerfelt with a three-legged Stephens County coyote.

 

STEWART COUNTY

Charles Ligon, of Richland, with a Stewart County coyote selfie.

 

TOWNS COUNTY

Matthew Allen killed this coyote in Towns County.

 

TREUTLEN COUNTY

Ken Ricks, of Adrian, with a coyote killed in Treutlen County.

Bill Stone, of Jacksonville, Fla., with a Treutlen County coyote.

 

TROUP COUNTY

Nate Moore and Justin Doughman each have an entry from Troup County.

 

UNION COUNTY

Caleb Harkins, of Suches, killed this coyote on the morning of June 17 in Union County.

Donald Keys, of Young Harris, with one more Union County coyote that won’t be feeding on deer fawns!

 

WALTON COUNTY

Haeden Chandler killed this coyote on June 11 while checking cows in Good Hope in Walton County.

 

WARE COUNTY

Joe Morris with a black Ware County coyote. It’s his sixth black coyote out of the 136 he has killed. The dog came to a howl from more than 400 yards away, and Joe sealed the deal with a baby rabbit call.

WASHINGTON COUNTY

William Pettit, of Eatonton, with a pair of Washington County coyotes.

WHITFIELD COUNTY

Mike Russell, of Resaca, with coyote No. 42 that he has trapped behind his home in Whitfield County since he started trapping eight or nine years ago.

Nathan Fennell with a pair of Whitfield County coyotes he shot after dark on June 2.

 

WILKINSON COUNTY

Bruce Shaffer, of Dallas, took this male coyote at his farm in Wilkinson County.

 

WORTH COUNTY

Larry Walters, of Ty Ty, with a Worth County coyote from June 17.
