Paradise PFA To Open

GON Staff | September 13, 1990

The new Paradise Public Fishing Area will open Sept. 22.

The area, once known as Patrick’s Fishing Paradise, was acquired last year though the DNR’s Land Acquisition program. Paradise PFA, located 8 miles east of Tifton on Highway 82, contains more than 75 ponds ranging in size from less than 1 acre to 112 acres. Ten ponds will be managed for fishing. Others will be used for kid’s fishing rodeos and waterfowl habitat.

Fish available include channel cats, largemouth bass, redear sunfish, bluegill and crappie. A valid Georgia fishing license is required to fish.
