Saltwater: Inshore: Capt. David Newlin reports, “May has been an interesting fishing month. Redfish, trout, black drum and whiting have been biting. On May 19, the water temp was right on 80 degrees—summertime is here. June is usually a good trout fishing month. The trout are starting to spawn and are moving into the open waters and out toward the beaches. All the usual spots out in the sounds should have fish on them.
