David Millsaps is the 2008 Individual Power Rankings champ. Here, he holds a bass he caught during a West Point Eliminator Series tournament in 2006.

After 12 months of cranking, worming, doodling and burning, the Big Bear Fishing Rods Power Rankings are complete. Partial lists for the Individual and Team Power Rankings are on these two pages, but a complete list of both lists are at <www.gon.com>.

Individual Power Rankings: David Millsaps of Ranger won the 2008 Individual Power Rankings race with 40 points, edging out Brian Bishop, who had 33 points.

David earned points in six tournaments, fishing the AFT Georgia Central and BFL Bulldog and Dixie divisions. He earned points on four different lakes, with his best being West Point, where he earned 17 of his 40 points.

David won $1,000 worth of cash and prizes thanks to Big Bear.

Team Power Rankings: Nine top-10 finishes was just enough for Al Cleghorn of Fitzgerald and Clint Meeks of Plains to become the 2008 Team Power Rankings Champs. They split $1,000 in cash and prizes.

The south Georgia team collected 63 points, only five points more than another south Georgia team, Jason Smith and Jackie Hambric.

Al and Clint earned points on Seminole, Eufaula and Blackshear. They did well on every lake, earning 23 points on Seminole, 21 on Blackshear and 19 on Eufaula.
