Lake Weiss Fishing Report June 2017

GON Staff | June 1, 2017

Weiss: Level: 0.3 feet below full pool. Temp: 77-79 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass: Guide Mark Collins reports, “Bass fishing is good. Most Weiss bass have now spawned, and they are starting to move to the docks and grassbeds. Shallow-running crankbaits, spinnerbaits and jigs are working well. Some bass are starting to move to deeper cover, also.”

Crappie: Mark reports, “The crappie are starting to show up on deeper cover and on the river channel ledges. They can be caught spider-rigging with minnows.”
