Lake Sinclair Fishing Report September 2015
GON Staff | August 26, 2015
Sinclair: Level: 1.8 feet below full pool. Temp: 85-86 degrees. Clarity: Mostly clear.
Bass: Tournament pro Aaron Batson reports, “Fishing is good. A tournament this past weekend took more than 20 pounds to win, which is very strong for a late summer event. Early morning bass are being caught on buzzbaits, frogs and topwater plugs on the banks that have deep water close by. After sun up, fish are moving out deeper and are in brushpiles and on deeper docks. Good baits are Texas-rigged Zoom magnum lizards and 3/8-oz. Net Boy Baits Flipp’n jigs. Good colors are junebug and redbug. Later this month, there will be some good schooling fish on the main lake. Get out your Sammys and Spooks to catch these fish.”
