Lake Sinclair Fishing Report October 2012

GON Staff | September 26, 2012

Sinclair: Level: 1.6 feet below full pool. Temp: 80-82 degrees. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass:
Aaron Batson reports, “This is a great month to throw topwater all day. Target seawalls and grassbeds with a 1/4-oz. white Ol’ Nelle buzzbait. You can work this bait all day and continue to load the boat. Bass will be shallow and aggressive the whole month. On slower days, work docks at the mouths of creeks with a weightless Wackem Crazy Baits Stinger Tail worm. Fish this bait slowly under and around docks. Let the bait free fall and lay still before moving the bait out away from the cover. Good colors are junebug or watermelon.”
