Lake Sinclair Fishing Report May 2015

GON Staff | April 30, 2015

Sinclair: Level: Full pool. Temp: 70-72 degrees. Clarity: Stained.

Bass:
Tournament angler Aaron Batson and his partner Michael Mincey won the April 25 Berry’s event on Sinclair with 22.14 pounds. Aaron reports, “Bass fishing is excellent. Good baits are 1/4-oz. chartreuse spinnerbaits and 1/4-oz. Rat-L-Traps. There are some bass spawning now, but a major wave of fish has begun to move to summer locations. Look for them to stage on secondary points for a few weeks in 6 to 10 feet of water as they recover from the spawn. Fish these areas with Pop-R’s, Chug Bugs, Sammys or flukes.”
