Lake Sinclair Fishing Report March 2016

GON Staff | February 24, 2016

Sinclair: Level: 1.7 feet below full pool. Temp: 48-52 degrees. Clarity: Stained to muddy.

Bass: Tournament angler Aaron Batson reports, “Bass fishing has been good for quality fish, but numbers have been difficult. We have been catching bass on Texas-rigged Zoom Magnum Lizards in junebug on docks and seawalls in 3 to 8 feet of water. The key for bites has been to dip the bottom 3 to 5 inches of the lizard in chartreuse JJ’s Magic. The scent and color has been working very well. Look for fish to move even more shallow and even up on beds later this month. Begin to look in the very backs of spawning flats.”
