Lake Sinclair Fishing Report March 2013

GON Staff | February 27, 2013

Sinclair: Level: 0.7 feet below full pool. Temp: 52-54 degrees. Clarity: Stained to heavily stained.

Bass:
Aaron Batson reports, “Bass fishing is improving. Look up the Little River arm for shallow staging fish in March. Stump flats and grassbeds will hold lots of fish. Use a 3/8-oz. Net Boy Baits chatterbait in chartreuse or white in the grassbeds. Look for grass near deeper water. Also, slow-roll a 1/2-oz. chartreuse Ol’ Nelle spinnerbait on the stump flats as you head up river. A slow-moving spinnerbait in these areas will catch some big bags. Also try a Wackem Crazy Baits Big Tater Bug in junebug color on a 1/8-oz. Texas rig in the grass patches. Dipping the Big Tater Bug in blue JJ’s Magic will make a big difference.”
