Lake Sinclair Fishing Report June 2013

Sinclair: Level: 1.2 feet below full pool. Temp: 78-83 degrees. Clarity: Lightly stained.

Bass: Excellent, according to tournament pro and guide Aaron Batson. “Fish are being caught both shallow and in mid-depth ranges. Look for mayflies early in the day, and work a 1/4-oz. Ol’ Nelle buzzbait around the feeding frenzy. Also swim a Wackem Crazy Bait Crazy Craw on a 1/8-oz. jig head through these areas. Good colors are green pumpkin or watermelon dipped in JJ’s Magic chartreuse color. During the midday heat, work deeper docks with a 1/4-oz. Net Boy Baits Screwball Head with a Wackem Crazy Bait 5-inch Pointy Tail worm in junebug or redbug. Look for docks with 10 to 15 feet of water on the ends. Big shaded boat houses will also hold several fish.”
