Lake Sinclair Fishing Report July 2013

GON Staff | June 26, 2013

Sinclair: Level: Full pool. Temp: 82-87 degrees. Clarity: Stained up the rivers and clear on the south end.

Bass: Good, according to Aaron Batson. “Grass and seawalls still hold some good bass. Work a buzzbait or spinnerbait around these areas early in the morning and even all day on cloudy or rainy days. Once the shallow bite slows down, back off and work the 8- to 12-foot deep points with a drop shot. The Wackem Crazy Baits Big Sissy worm has been the best bait to use on the drop shot. Watermelon color with the tail dipped in chartreuse JJ’s Magic has been the best color combination for the drop-shot rig.”
