Lake Sinclair Fishing Report February 2015

GON Staff | January 29, 2015

Sinclair: Level: 1.1 feet below full pool. Temp: 43-48 degrees. Clarity: Light to heavy stain.

Bass:
Fair. Tournament fisherman Aaron Batson reports, “Numbers of fish are hard to come by, but quality has been good. You have to slow way down for bites with the cold water temps. Net Boy Baits jigs have been working well, but bites are very slow and light. Stay focused, and stick with the jig for some solid fish. I have been working deeper structure in 8 to 12 feet of water for the jig fish. I have also been working some new baits from Black Label Tackle that will be great as the spring rolls around. They make some fine crankbaits that will certainly smash them this spring.”
