Lake Sinclair Fishing Report February 2012

GON Staff | February 1, 2012

Sinclair: Level: 1.4 feet below full pool. Temp: 52-55 degrees. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Tournament pro Aaron Batson said a recent tournament was won with about 16 pounds. “Limits are fairly easy to get, but bigger bites seem hard to find,” Aaron said. “Slow-rolled Ol Nelle spinnerbaits, crankbaits and Net Boy Bait jigs have been working well. Begin searching at the mouths of major creeks and coves with moving baits, and then slow down and pick apart any cover with the jig. Later this month, lipless crankbaits will get hot on flats and points just inside the creek mouths.”
