Lake Sinclair Fishing Report April 2013

GON Staff | March 27, 2013

Sinclair: Level: 0.3 feet below full pool. Temp: 52-56 degrees. Clarity: Stained to lightly stained.

Bass: Tournament pro Aaron Batson reports, “Bass fishing is great. Fish are feeding early in the day on seawalls and grassbeds. Target them with 1/4-oz. Net Boy Bait swimjigs or 1/4-oz. Ol’ Nelle spinnerbaits. Look for some fish to already be on beds down the lake. A drop shot with a Wackem Crazy Baits Big Sissy worm in watermelon will work well. Dip the head of the bait in chartreuse JJ’s Magic. It will attract more bites and make the fish hold on longer, and it also allow you to see the bait easier and detect the bite.”
