Lake Nottely Fishing Reports – April 2021

GON Staff | April 1, 2021

Nottely: Level: 2.5 feet low. Temp: 56 degrees. Clarity: Muddy.

Linesides: Guide Jeremy Seabolt reports, “I have been catching lots of nice fish. They are scattered all over the lake, but the best fishing has been out over deep water. We have been pulling a buffet for them—shad, herring and Captain Mack’s Mini Macks. The large herring and the Mini Macks have been performing the best, but I look for that to change after the lake clears up. The fish should be pulling up on the shallows, and then it will be one of the best times of the year. I love chasing the big stripers in April and May. They will be moving fast keeping up with all the bait. April is one of the best times of the year to catch a 30-plus pounder, so stop by the Bait Shack and get all your live bait needs.”
