Lake Eufaula Fishing Report November 2015

GON Staff | October 29, 2015

Eufaula: Level: 0.9 feet below 190 pool. Temp: Low 70s. Clarity: Light stain.

Bass: Guide Sam Williams reports, “The bass are scattered, and the catching is hit and miss. The early bite is in the pads and cover, with frogs and topwater baits doing best. Blade baits will get some action started when the shad are not moving much. Deep crankbaits and shaky heads are doing the trick on deeper brushpiles.” See the article on page 98 for November patterns.

Crappie: Sam reports, “The crappie are getting cranked back up on jigs on the brushpiles along deeper flats and ditch ledges.”

Bream: “The shellcrackers are eating worms in the creeks, and some nice-sized fish are being caught,” Sam said. “The bluegills are hitting crickets around the banks where you find blowdowns and other shallow wood cover.”

Catfish: “The catfish are always cooperative, especially on jugs baited with cut bait,” Sam said.
