Lake Eufaula Fishing Report November 2012

GON Staff | October 31, 2012

Eufaula: Level: 2.9 feet below full pool. Temp: 70 degrees. Clarity: Lightly stained to clear.

Bass: Good. Capt. Sam Williams reports, “The jig bite is on. Hunt any type of cover, and you will find fish. The shallow bite remains good early and late. The sunrise brings on a good topwater bite. The water level remains very low. Using caution when navigating is important. If your electronics has a map, use it. There are river cans (channel-marker buoys) missing, as well as creek markers missing in Cowikee. The visible stump fields will be a great source of fish when the water comes back up. Make note of these areas—mark them on your GPS. The grass and cover is getting thick and will be excellent hotspots when they go underwater.”

Bream: “Panfish are hitting dug worms on the edge of the flats,” Sam said.
