Eufaula: Level: 2.4 feet below 190 pool. Temp: Upper 80s. Clarity: Lightly stained.

Bass: Guide Sam Williams reports, “Lake Eufaula is getting hot—weather wise and the fishing, as well. The Alabama Children’s Classic winners took first place with 27.05 pounds. The early morning topwater bite is producing some really nice bass. When that bite slows down, the ledge bite is working on a Carolina rig. With the heat factor over 100 degrees now, keep plenty of water and sunscreen while on the water. Be aware of the afternoon thunder heads, and do not take a chance with the lightning.”
