Lake Burton Fishing Report September 2012

GON Staff | August 29, 2012

Burton: Level: Full pool. Temp: degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. Eric Welch, of Reel Job Fishing guide service, reports, “I’ve been catching some big spotted bass on deep banks and points in 15 to 35 feet of water. Throw a shaky head with a Zoom green-pumpkin-green Trick Worm. I’ve also been drop-shotting 4 1/2-inch Roboworms on points and around the front of brush. Always keep a Zoom Fluke or a Sammy close for any fish that blow up schooling or feeding on top. This upcoming month the topwater bite should start getting good.”
