Lake Burton Fishing Report – May 2010

Burton: Level: Full pool. Temp: 65 degrees. Clarity: Clear.

Bass: Good. Eric Welch with Reel Job Fishing reports, “There have been some bass that have spawned, but most of the spotted bass and largemouths I’ve been catching have not spawned yet. I’m catching them on points that have a drop and around docks that have a drop out in front of them. Spinnerbaits, drop shots and Texas rigs have been producing good bites. I would say the big spawn is going to be on the next full moon. After the spawn, you should do well around docks with flukes.”
